Golf Victory - Fred Daly Team August 2010
Thomas Reaney and Peter Dolan who are part of the Athenry Golf Club Fred Daly Team (under 18’s) had a fantastic and historic victory at the recent national finals which were held in Dungarvan on the 17th Aug 2010.
Their victory meant that this was only the second time ever that the Green Pennant was won by a team from Connaught.
Following their victory the team now goes forward to represent both Ireland and Athenry Golf Club in the European Finals which will be held in Spain in January 2011.
Also pictured is Mr. Glynn who is a the Vice Principal and a trustee at Athenry Golf Club.
