A group of 13 students visited Dublin Castle recently to take part in round table discussions about Development Education issues.

  Minister of State visits PCA February 2015 European Youth Parliament

Following on Ms. Fiona Page’s SK Charity School Run, Ms. Anne Monaghan, Deputy Principal; Evan Quirke, PCA Student Council; Mr. Kenneth O Dea, PCA Student Council Coordinator; Mary Kelly, PCA Student Council and Mr. Cathal Moore, Deputy Principal present a cheque for €1000 to Aware’s Colm Fagan.

Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise Gerald Nash, T.D. was in Athenry this week to discuss enterprise issues with local business owners. Pictured with Minister Nash were Senator Lorraine Higgins who organisied the special event which was also attended by  our Deputy Principals Ms. Anne Monaghan and Mr. Cathal Moore along with Mr. Jason Cotter's Business Studies class.


Congratulations to Niamh Delmer, Aoife Rice and Hannah Rabbitte who will represent our school at the European Youth Parliament National Session in Dublin from 5 th - 8 th March. Good luck girls !
